The Student Council and Community Outreach Committee are delighted to inform you that the huge contribution from the Inventure Community in response to the drive organised for Chennai flood relief, has been a great success.
Students were active participants, bringing in supplies daily and enthusiastically asked how they can further contribute.
We managed to get two consignments out – the first one was to Chennai and the second consignment was dispatched to Ektamadurai in Cuddalore. Ektamadurai is an organisation based in Madurai which works with women, men, youth and adolescents in the educational institutions of rural and urban areas. It lobbies for gender sensitive policy changes to further the interest of women and address gender based violence in particular.
